Alessio Sakara stops James Lee in the first round at UFC 80:Rapid Fire.
After posting up a 3-3 record in the UFC Light Heavyweight division,
now its on to compete at Middleweight
Legionarius defeated Elvis Sinosic, Victor Valimaki and James Lee but was stopped
by Drew McFedries in one of the UFC's best fights of 2006. Sakara also fell victim to Dean Lister's amazing BJJ and Houston Alexander's blitzkrieg.
Sakara's debut fight in the UFC was against Ron Faircloth, who he was completely dominating until receiving a illegal low blow,
which halted the fight and was declared a No-Contest.
Hopefully we will see a rematch with Drew McFedries one day.

Mavs are on a 5 game win streak and 2nd place to the Spurs

but recently had theyre 11 game win streak snapped.

Sweet Victory

So I was playing pretty well today, the last time I checked I was 7th place of 25. A few hands later I got a call from my friend upstairs, so I leave the tables for about 30 minutes. When I return I was alittle bit surprised to still be in the tournament. I only had 3.5k and was 9th place of the remaining 10 players.
As soon as I got a decent hand I was going to move all in, fortunately I didnt have to, as the 2 guys in the bubble were eliminated. Final table I work my magic, bam! I double up and some to 11k, knock a guy off with Aces to take me in the 20ks.
Some clown tries to be cute and i send him on his way.
So now here we are 4 left, I become the chip leader, but we all have roughly 40k. One guy entices the small stack, I outplay the other guy, and we are down to 2. We have a pretty good back and forth heads up and the final hand:
I have J5, he has K7
Flop is J A A
sometimes you just get the feeling and I felt he did not have an A so I moved all in.
He calls and the turn is Q, the river J, and its all over baby :)

Random Stuff

So i woke up today, checked but i didnt win the TxLottery, one day i will though.
Went over to Jack In The Box and tried the new Sirloin Steak Melt, it was good but i never thought a sandwich (or burger whatever) could be too cheesy :o i put it down with my Dr.Pepper/Fanta strawberry mix.
Weather is really nice today, strong winds but refreshing to walk outside. Good weekend to go to the park. Unfortunately i have to work, so no time to play out there.
I decide i am too full from my meal and log into http://www.fulltiltpoker.net and register for a 2k 90 people tournament. Things were going pretty good, i knock off a guy with my pocket aces to his Q4 off suite? No idea why he moved all in after i raised but he was short stacked, poor guy even caught a Q on the flop. Next hand i get A 10 of spades, another short stack is all in.
He gets called and i re-raise the caller also all in. He makes the call and shows 94 of spades. I do not recall the other opponents hand but i have them both covered and im in good shape. Unfortunately nothing on the flop and turn for anybody. River comes and its a 9 :( so im back down to the starting point of 1.5k
A few 2 pairs and trips and im back climbing the leaderboard. A guy who i had been having a good conversation with raises, i call, another player calls.
Flop is 2s 9c Ac
I have KQ of clubs, so now im on the draw. I bet the pot, player folds and my new friend warns me "be careful" and raises all in, which he has me covered because of my previous bad beat. I analyse the situation for a moment and decide that it was worth the gamble.
The turn is a 5c and gives me the nut flush.
The river is a A of spades and gives him the full house.
Im out but i cannot be mad at such a cooler. I wish the guy good luck and take my leave.

This time I bet 5,600.
Another call, does he have the Ace of Spades??
The river is another spade, this time the Jack.
Player goes all in, I quickly call and he shows a full house 3s full of 2s

Well with the ever changing music industry, a new trend is being set. Top albums from 2 to 3 years ago continue to remain a strong presence on the Billboard charts(Hannah Montana, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flats, Nickelback, Daughtry)
My Chemical Romance's album "The Black Parade" was released on October 24, 2006 and was quickly Certified Platinum on the strenght of the first single "Welcome To The Black Parade". Follow up singles included "Famous Last Words" and "Teenagers". The Black Parade Tour with Rise Against, Thursday, and Muse as supporting acts was very successful and My Chem shows no signs off slowing down.
On September 24, 2007, the group's lead vocalist Gerard Way has stated the group plans to release two more singles from The Black Parade, both of which will feature music videos directed by Way himself. Mama will be released on January 11th, 2008.
Can we expect others artist to do the same?
Singer Fergie is currently on her 4th single/video "Clumsy"

Its 2008 and I am going to give a few things a try. Google Ad-Sense was approved and now I created this Blogger thing.
How do I embed the YouTube Ad-Sense player?
Anyhow, my blog will consist of;
training/teaching mixed martial arts, UFC news, event predictions/results and stuff

and since its the new year, my goals for 2008 (losing weight, getting a new job)
